District Conference Chair  PP Marty Alvarado announced that the DISCON 2009 shall be held from March 20-21, 2009 at the Sofitel Philippine Plaza Hotel, Cultural Center area in Pasay City.  With this year’s theme “Dreams Work,” PP Marty of this year’s host club, RC Parañaque South, promises a truly exciting event.

Enjoy a different kind of warm and contagious fellowship among Rotarians and friends that can only happen during the District’s most awaited event of the year.  DISCON 2009 will feature power speakers to talk about relevant and inspiring topics in a well balanced program of activities.  There will be surprise presentations for everyone’s entertainment and lots of fabulous raffle prizes at stake.

Why attend DISCON 2009?  For two compelling reasons:

1. You want to renew, strengthen and enjoy the friendship with your fellow Rotarians from other clubs

2. You want to improve your understanding and appreciation of what Rotary Service is all about – the very reason why you joined Rotary

So, don’t miss the biggest, most exciting and most important annual activity of Rotary International District 3830 - the DISCON 2009!

Registration is at P3,500 per Rotarian who pays between now and up to December 15. Thereafter, the fee shall be P4,000 for payments made from Dec 16, 2008 to Feb 14, 2009.  Payments from Feb. 15 to March 13 shall be at P4,500. 

Clubs are encouraged to pay for 10 members all together to get the privilege of selecting and reserving their preferred tables during the first and second nights of the event.  It’s a “first paid, first reserved” basis, so register early.

There will be no on site registration at the venue. The last day to register and pay is on March 13, a week before the event.
