To complete the library set-up, RCMN also donated two reading tables, twenty four monobloc chairs and two book shelves. One more book cabinet and additional books, to be solicited from members, are planned to be donated in the immediate future.
Formalizing the donation and turnover, a Memorandum of Agreement was signed by the project partners, PE Vic Austria for RC Makati North, RC Makati-PSP President PP Jonny Carlos, Pres. Menchu Esteban of IWCMN and Kagawad Virginia Salenga on behalf of Bgy Sta. Cruz. Chairman Vic del Prado. The inauguration and turnover program was graced by the presence of IPDG Ato Magadia and IWCPI President Vicky Magadia. Also present were RCMN PP Tony Chong, RCM-PSP Chairman Chito Cantada and Rotarians Archie Reaño, Cora Tan, Daisy dela Torre and Ian Alas.
Also participating in the library project is the Barangay Sta. Cruz Rotary Community Corps headed by Pres. Ida Rafols. |
