My dear Presidents Elect,
In the next months, I will have my training as Governor (called GETS ) at the Kuala Lumpur Rotary Zone Institute and at San Diego during the Rotary International Assembly in January 2008 where I will meet RI officers and get more learnings from Rotary International. These trainings are mandatory before I become a District Governor.
Ten months from today, our Rotary term will begin. I look forward to a very exciting RY 2008-2009 with my PEs, the soon-to-be leaders and prime movers of District 3830.
I believe that the sooner we plan, the better we are prepared. I have requested our training team led by PDG Sonny Coloma who will be our District Trainor and PP Sally Tongson , who will be the Exec Director for Rotary Academy , to create a series of learning workshop and seminar for you.
Our training team has lined up a series of pre PETS learning sesions called "Hit the Ground Running (HGR) Learning Workshop Series", which aims to motivate you as leaders and to provide you a better framework for your term.
I assure you that these seminars and workshop will be FUN, fullfilling and inspiring.
