In support of RI President DK Lee’s call for Rotarians all over the world to help reduce child mortality through proper nutritional care, the Rotary Club of Makati North has re-launched its “Feed a Child, Build a Nation” program last July 16, 2008 at the F. Benitez Elementary School-Main, Makati City.

Now on its 9th year, the supplementary feeding project is being done in partnership with the Inner Wheel Club of Makati North, the RCC of Brgy. Sta. Cruz and F. Benitez Elementary School Main.
Under the scheme, the club will continue providing daily lunches for the months of July through November 2008, or while funds last. Recipients are grade one students who have been found to be grossly underweight. Meanwhile, before the fund runs out, the club hopefully can raise another P50,000 to continue the project for another five months.
