RC Parañaque Poblacion Inducts PATTS Rotaract Officers September 1, 2008, Parañaque City
By Justin Francis C. Victoria, VP, PATTS Rotaract Club
It was not just another routine day for Rotarians. It was the induction day of the Rotary Club Parañaque Poblacion (RCPP), and one of the most awaited events of the club. And, for the PATTS College of Aeronautics Rotaracts, it’s one of the most exciting experiences in their young lives.
The simple lunch ceremony was held at the Casino Filipino in Sucat, Parañaque last August 9, 2008. Many Rotarians from different clubs attended and the membership of RCPP was in full force. They were in their smart casual attire of blue jeans and jacket, unusual for a Rotary club induction, but it was definitely fun. The PATTS Rotaract Club members, though quite overwhelmed by the sheer number of Rotarians present, were very much at home with their seniors. The buffet table, with lots of choices, was definitely a feast!

PP Art Tugade gave an inspirational speech that enlightened everybody. “Tempus fugit – time flies,” he said, with the last Rotary term officially ending as the new club leadership, led by Pres Arnel Ramoy, begins a new year of service.
Charter President Paul Louie Tugade presented the incoming PATTS Rotaract officers who were inducted by PP Lilibeth De La Cruz, District Rotaract Chair. It was an unforgettable moment for the PATTS Rotaractors.
Capping the day's event, the new RCPP officers were sworn into office and so were a number of new members. District Governor Elect Sid Garcia was the guest speaker and Pres Arnel Ramoy delivered the closing remarks.
