After the unveiling, the Rotarians trooped to Barangay Lumil in Silang, Cavite to carry out their scheduled Medical/Dental program.  A dental awareness seminar and check up services were conducted, which was attended by parents and children.  Toothbrushes and toothpastes were distributed for free to about 500 beneficiaries.  The medical/dental program was held in partnership with the Pasay Chapter of the Women’s Dental Association, DAPCI Foundation, Silang Mayor Areng Poblete and the Silang Municipal Health Officers.

From Brgy. Lumil, RCME distributed mosquito nets to fight Dengue, as the club’s take on D3830’s thrust on Child Mortality Reduction, to 64 families of Barangay Bulihan, also in Silang Cavite.   The purchase of the mosquito nets was funded by a DSG grant.  Also assisting during at the activities were Barangay officials, municipal employees and police personnel from the Silang PNP.
