The Officers of the Rotaract and Interact Clubs of Southville Foreign University (SFU) were formally inducted last September 22, 2008 at the University Gym in BF International, Las Piñas City. The ceremony was held during the school’s Student Assembly organized by the officers of both clubs.

The event was attended by RCMS Pres. Edna Gan, IPP Dennis Belmonte, Community Service Dir. Francisco Abayari Jr., Baby Rotarian Farida Laura, DRCC Lilibeth Dela Cruz, SFU Dean Alfred Milevoi, faculty members and students.

The program started with an Invocation by Rotaract Treasurer Jasmine Rose Maquiling followed by the singing of the National Anthem led by Rotaract Secretary Fabiola Esnaola and Interact President Liezl Yambao.  SFU Dean Alfred Milevoi welcomed the students, faculties and guests. Rotaract President  Gwendoline Ruais acknowledged the presence of RCMS Rotarians and proceeded to introduce the officers of Rotaract and Interact Club of Southville Foreign University.

The formal charging was done by DRCC Lilibeth Dela Cruz who gave them an overview of what they could expect as Rotaract and Interact officers and what are expected of them.  Pres. Edna Gan then delivered her message addressed to the new officers, club members and the SFU students in general.  She then administered their oaths of office for their induction into the Rotaract and Interact families.

Capping the induction ceremonies, Pres. Edna presented Rotaract Pres. Gwen Ruais the certifications from Rotary International officially recognizing the Rotaract and Interact Clubs of Southville Foreign University.  RCMS provided snacks for the Rotaract and Interact members as they moved on with the other agenda of their Student Assembly.
