In his keynote message, Gov Boyet likened his position to that of a CEO, though this time, for the Rotarians of District 3830. He emphasized on Club Membership. “The more members we have, the more service projects we can accomplish and the more less-fortunate that we can help and serve. There is one district which has already hit the 3,000 membership mark. So, if we are aiming to become the number one district in the country, we should look at hitting more than 3,000 members. We should grow by, at least another 1,500 new members by the end of RY 2008-2009.” Gov. Boyet is optimistic that this can be achieved by being active in recruiting new members and sponsoring extension clubs. The Governor also appealed for the Club’s support for the District’s Bingo project.
The night was capped by a fellowship among the Governor’s Team and the Salcedians. |
