With the onset of the Christmas season, the season of giving and sharing, the Rotaract and Interact Clubs of Barangay Sta. Cruz, in partnership with the Rotary Club of Makati North (RCMN), conducted a book reading and gift-giving activity for the benefit of 50 children at the Barangay Hall of  Brgy. Singkamas,  Makati City, last Dec. 20, 2008.

The afternoon’s fun-filled activity, headed by Youth Director Ian Alas, started with the Rotaractors and Interactors reading stories to the children.  A short message was given by Dir. Ian and the program was ended with the serving of snacks and distribution of gifts.  The activity was followed by a short meeting with Dir. Ian to brainstorm on upcoming projects of the clubs.

Thereafter, the Rotaractors and Interactors also had their own Christmas Party at the main school grounds of F. Benitez Elementary School in Sta. Cruz, Makati City.  It started with an early dinner shared between the RAC/IACT members, the officers of RVC Sta. Cruz, and some guests.

Several games, such as Hep Hep Hurray, Christmas Choco Relay, Trip to the Winter Wonderland and Longest Christmas Alphabet, were played adding more fun to the already exciting party.  An exchange gift, the Christmas shopping way, marked the end of the get-together.
